This is possible for smaller tattoos or flash designs. For larger projects, we schedule an appointment in advance.

How much does a tattoo cost?
The price depends on the size and level of detail. Our starting rate is €75.

Can you work out after getting a tattoo?
Yes, but give it some time. For most types of exercise, wait at least a week to allow proper healing. If you practice contact sports like football or boxing, it’s better to wait two weeks to protect the skin from impact and infection. Always follow your artist’s aftercare advice.

What does getting a tattoo feel like?
Most people describe it as a scratching or stinging sensation. It can be uncomfortable, but usually manageable. Pain levels vary depending on the body part and your personal pain tolerance.

Will my tattoo still look good if I lose a lot of weight?
Significant weight changes can affect the shape and appearance of your tattoo. If you lose or gain a lot, the skin may stretch or shrink, which can distort the design. Small fluctuations usually don’t have much effect.

Can you tattoo over a scar?
In many cases, yes — but it depends on the type, thickness, and location of the scar. Not all scars are suitable for tattooing. Always consult a dermatologist first. If cleared, your tattoo artist can help design something that works.

Can I get a tattoo while pregnant?
No, we advise against it. There’s a risk of infection or complications, so we don’t tattoo pregnant clients. It’s best to wait until after pregnancy — safety first.

Can I get a tattoo while breastfeeding?
We advise against it. There’s a risk of infection and the potential for harmful substances to affect your health, which could also impact your breastfeeding. It’s safer to wait until you’re no longer nursing.

Can I get a tattoo if I take medication?
That depends on the medication. Certain drugs — like blood thinners — can increase risk. Always consult your doctor first. If you’re cleared, we’ll gladly discuss the options with you.

Can you tattoo over stretch marks?
Often, yes. Tattoos can cover stretch marks quite well, but it depends on their color, severity, and whether the skin is fully healed. If you’re unsure, it’s best to get advice from a dermatologist first.

How long should you avoid the sun after getting a tattoo?
Avoid sun exposure until your tattoo is completely healed — no more scabs, peeling, or dry patches. For some people that’s two weeks, for others up to four, depending on the tattoo. Sun can fade colors and damage healing skin, so better safe than sorry.

How do I care for a tattoo?
Always follow your tattoo artist’s specific aftercare instructions. In general: keep it clean, use a recommended healing ointment, and avoid sun, swimming, and scratching until the tattoo is fully healed. You’ll receive a printed aftercare guide from us after your session.

Do tattoos always need touch-ups?
Not always. With good aftercare, your tattoo should stay crisp. But sometimes small spots may fade or heal unevenly. If that happens, contact us and we’ll assess what needs touching up. It’s completely normal.

Should I wrap my tattoo in plastic foil?
Usually not. Your skin heals best when it can breathe. Plastic wrap can trap moisture and slow down healing. Always follow the specific aftercare instructions from your tattoo artist.

What soap should I use to wash my tattoo?
Use lukewarm water and a mild, unscented soap. Avoid anything with perfume or alcohol. A pH-neutral soap is your best bet and can be found at most supermarkets, drugstores, or pharmacies.

How do you sleep with a new tattoo?
Apply a thin layer of healing ointment before bed to keep the skin moisturized. Wear clean, breathable cotton clothing to protect your tattoo and your sheets. Avoid sleeping on the tattooed area.

Can I use numbing cream for my tattoo?
No, we don’t use numbing cream. Although it’s sometimes advertised online, we find it ineffective and sometimes even disruptive to the tattooing process. It’s better to go without — no pain, no gain!

Can I drink alcohol before or after getting a tattoo?
No, we strongly advise against it. Alcohol thins your blood, which can make tattooing more difficult and affect healing. Avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours before your appointment, and wait a bit after as well to help your body recover.

What should I wear to my tattoo appointment?
Wear clean, comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting stained — we work with ink, and accidents happen. Choose clothes that allow easy access to the area being tattooed.

What should I eat and drink before, during, and after a tattoo session?
Eat a solid, balanced meal with enough carbs and fruit beforehand, and drink plenty of water. If your session is long, bring a light snack like crackers or something sugary for a quick energy boost. Proper nutrition helps your body handle the session and heal faster.

Should I shave the area before my tattoo?
No, don’t shave it yourself. The artist will do this just before the session. Shaving beforehand can cause irritation or tiny cuts, which may interfere with the tattoo.

Can I get a tattoo if I have a lot of moles?
Yes, you can — but we never tattoo over moles. It’s important to keep moles visible so they can be checked for changes over time. We design the tattoo around them, not on top.

What helps with tattoo pain?
Preparation is key. Get a good night’s sleep, eat a healthy meal, and stay well-hydrated. Avoid alcohol and stress. Staying calm and relaxed during the session also helps manage the pain.

Why does it feel like your body gets used to the pain during tattooing?
Because your body adapts to the stress. Tattooing triggers the release of adrenaline and endorphins — natural chemicals that reduce pain. That’s why it can feel less intense as the session goes on.

Is a fine line tattoo at your studio really a fine line tattoo?
Absolutely. We specialize in fine line work and use ultra-thin needles that deliver precise, delicate lines for a true fine line result.

What is the wait time for a larger or realistic tattoo at your studio?
It depends on your flexibility. If you’re available during weekdays, we can often book you in sooner. Weekend-only availability may lead to a longer wait. We’ll plan your session in consultation with you.

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]On this Q&A page, we answer as many frequently asked questions about tattoos as possible.
